A small hand sized Hungarian "fokos" axe from sometime between the 1920's
and 1935. The fokos was a tradition weapon in the Poland/Hungary area, and
the name means "cane with a head suitable for fighting". Steel headed fokos
were banned in the 1920's, and brass ones were produced in response. The end
of the fokos era was the eve of WWII. This mini-fokos has an unsharpened
brass head and some minor damage to the butt end.
