9th century nasal helm - this peaked helmet was a precursor to the more rounded Norman style nasal helmets of the 10th and 11th centuries. The nasal piece on this helmet protects almost to the jawline - great coverage against sword cuts to the face. 14 gauge steel, adjustable leather liner, and chinstrap. Weighs in right around 4 lbs.
